Lobbying and advocacy USK is increasingly building its capacity and those of the target groups to engage in lobbying and advocacy work in an effort to tacking the underlying issues that perpetuate an d reinforce poverty, marginalization and other forms of disempowerment. Advocacy work is anchored on the strategic plan 2006 – 2010 as one of the key pillars of all programme interventions. Programme and financial management USK has fully integrated its entire programme an d financial processes through enterprise resource planning (ERP) software also known as EXACT. indeed the organization is among the first NGO s in Africa to install the system which combines all vital programme and financial information into one centre database
